Wedding Cake

Our wedding cake and grooms cake will be provided by Cedar Grove from Haydel's bakery in Jefferson. Here are some pictures I've gathered for inspiration. My colors for the wedding are purple and silver, so some of these pictures I have saved for color use, and others for design. Chris has mentioned he would like to incorporate our initials somehow.

Grooms Cake

I think he's decided he wants a cake like the one below, with two slight changes. Instead of the Abita Amber that the cake pictured below used, it will be made to look like Abita Strawberry Beer - his favorite. And it will be in season during the wedding! I think he is also planning on having it lay on it's side with "beer froth" spewing out the top, lol.
